Delivering pure Formula 1 technology to a road car, the Mercedes-AMG ONE is billed as the most powerful performance-oriented two-seater ever. The world's first commercial vehicle to have both an F1 hybrid system and road-legal certification, ONE is a true high-performance hybrid vehicle that marks the pinnacle of current technological feasibility. It is a tribute to unprecedented success in motorsport's top level, a celebration of AMG's 50th anniversary, and a profound insight into the future of Mercedes-AMG cars.

ONE's hybrid powertrain features pure electric and wheel-selective front-axle drive concepts and is expected to produce more than 1,000 horsepower (735 kilowatts) of combined system power and a top speed of more than 218 mph (352 km/h). Components of the highly efficient plug-in hybrid system called EQ Power+ in Mercedes-AMG Project ONE are directly based on Formula 1 racing cars and are closely aligned with those of Mercedes-AMG High Performance Powertrains Work closely with sports experts. It will involve a highly integrated and intelligently networked 1.6-litre V6 hybrid petrol engine unit with a total of four electric motors - one integrated into the turbocharger, another mounted directly on the internal combustion engine, connected to the crankcase, and the remaining two An electric motor drives the front wheels.

The consistent design of the Mercedes-AMG ONE is based on a simple principle: form follows function. Every design detail serves to enhance the overall performance of the vehicle. The "muscular" proportions are based on the mid-engine concept. The cockpit is set very well forward facing, and the large wheel arches and wasp haunches with its wide tail reveal the car's racing origins. The large black front spoiler and air intake span the entire car, and the LED headlights fit seamlessly into the body contours. An important feature of the dynamic roof profile are the air intakes that elegantly blend into the vertical shark fins. Based directly on the design of a Formula One car, the exhaust pipe consists of a large circular outlet and two smaller outlets. The highly functional design gives the car a distinct and distinctive personality and is designed to evoke a true racing feel and provide an unparalleled experience.

The interior blends performance and practicality, while also giving it the feel of an authentic F1 racing car. The interior's color and material choices were inspired by Formula One racing. The ergonomically contoured interior and two bucket seats use innovative materials for a futuristic, minimalist look. The pedals and F1-style steering wheel can be adjusted as needed. The central tunnel visually separates the driver area from the passenger area and is a functional component of the carbon fiber support structure. It's cleverly integrated into the monocoque structure, and the seats are racing-inspired, upholstered in Magma Gray Nappa leather and inlaid in a sports textile mesh material. Yellow contrast stitching is also a prominent feature of the AMG.

Only 275 units of the $2.72 million Mercedes-AMG ONE will be built to preserve the supercar's rarity, although the waiting list has reportedly ballooned to four times that number. Due to the impact of the global epidemic, the car will start production in August 2022 and is expected to become Affalterbach's most outstanding road-legal racing car.

The limited-edition model uses original CAD designs, paint codes and material specifications provided by Mercedes-AMG. Each model is approximately 58 centimeters (23 inches) long and contains 1,192 hand-crafted parts within the body.

Resin casting is more labor intensive than injection molding, and the soft molds used are worn down by each cast. The low initial investment cost of resin casting means that individual hobbyists can produce small runs for their own use, such as customization, while companies can use it to produce small runs for public sale. Quality of both original masters and resin castings varies due to differences in creator's skill, as well as casting techniques.
